Crochet Heart Thong Free Pattern
I designed this crochet heart thong free pattern for Valentine’s Day. This project features a crochet mesh stitch pattern and a crochet heart in the back. I really love the high waist fit. Also, this is a fairly easy crochet project that works up quickly due to the lace stitches. The pattern features chain stitches, single crochets, double crochets and treble crochets.
You will need a medium weight 4 yarn and an E Hook / 3.5 mm Hook for this crochet thong. The sizes included in the free pattern are XS – 3X.

Crochet Heart Thong Free Pattern
Foundation: Magic ring or ch 4, join.
Row 1: Ch 3, working into ring, 3 tr, 3 dc, ch 1, tr, ch 1, 3 dc, 3 tr, ch 3, sl st into ring, close ring.
Row 2: Ch 4, sc in ch3sp, *ch 4, sc in next st*, repeat around until ch3sp left, ch 4, sc in ch3sp, ch 4, sl st in top of ring.
Row 3: Ch 8, from behind the heart sl st in bottom middle sc (above the bottom tr), turn to work in front, 3 sc in the same sc below.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, 1 dc in every st across.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in every st across.
***Repeat rows 4 and 5 until row 25 (27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37) is complete.
Row 26 (28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38): Ch 1, turn, 2 dc in 1st st, dc, 2 dc in last st.

Back Ties
Reattach yarn to the center back of the heart near the top of the ch 8. Ch 125 (133, 151, 171, 190, 211, 227), 1 sl st in every ch across, sc in same sp as where the yarn was reattached to the center back of the heart, ch 125 (133, 151, 171, 190, 211, 227), 1 sl st in every st across, fasten off.
