Crochet Layered Choker Necklace with Pendant or Charm Tutorial and Pattern
This was such a fun project to crochet! I really wanted to jump into designing a few crochet jewelry items because I had some Aunt Lydia’s and Artiste #10 crochet thread laying around for quite some time now. I never really invested the time to put those to use. So this is my very first crochet choker design and I am so pleased to be able to share it with you!

I love the mystery and sensual look of a choker but I wanted to bring more elements to it by creating another layer. So I added a necklace and went through my older jewelry to find some potential pendants to use. The key charm was from an older necklace that broke, and the feather charm is ACTUALLY an old earring! Yes, I lost the other one an still had this one, so I recycled both of these pieces into these new crochet chokers! It is a fun project if you have old jewelry that you loved and you want to re-purpose or just have charms/pendants laying around.
This pattern is easily adjustable for all sizes. Just measure around your neck to see how long the circumference is. From there, we will be crocheting this pattern 1 inch shorter than that measurement. I hope you enjoy!

You can add your charm before attaching the second side of the necklace if you don’t have pliers or jewelry tools. Otherwise, you can attach the charm afterwards with a jump ring.
Last Tie & Border
Ch 100 (last tie), sl st to last corner, place 1 sc in every stitch, 1 sc in the side of every sc row, 2 sc in the side of every dc row, and 3 sc in every corner until the entire choker is lined with sc, sl st in sc. Be sure to sc over all the tails in this step so that you don’t have to weave them in later.
