Crochet Chic Bikini Set | Part 1: Crochet Basic Non-Adjustable Bralette for All Sizes (No Ties) (Video Tutorial)

For some reason, crocheting non-adjustable crochet items seemed very difficult to me. I tried a few times but this technique seemed to be one of the best and easiest ways to crochet straps that fit very well but give you some leeway without having to be so precise. A thin ribbing made by a small hook offers a lot of stretch while staying petite.

For the crochet bralette, I used a medium weight 4 yarn and a D/3.25mm hook to make a ribbed band that can fit over the shoulders. I only used rows of 4 single crochets so that the band was relatively thin. Then I crocheted basic half double crochet bikini cups and created the straps with ribbing made of rows of 3 single crochets. Click here for the Crochet Chic Bikini Bottom.
