This is only the beginning…
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I would like to welcome you to a place where we can share ideas so that we all can grow together.
Although a I’ve been crocheting for about 5 years now, I honestly feel like this is only the beginning for me.
This is the beginning because I’m only starting to recognize what crochet actually means to me in my life. Crochet is my go to vehicle to transform my dreams, goals and creativity into physical form. Finally finding this truth for myself is why this is only the beginning.
Before I understood this about my personal relationship with hooks and yarn, my work was decent but somewhat uninspired, which made it fall shy of being all it could be. However, over time, my love for this art form grew enough so that I could believe in myself and my abilities to create with endless possibilities.
In a lot of ways a crocheter is a lot like a potter; we take an otherwise formless substance and give it purpose and meaning that it didn’t have before. We spend countless hours on our projects because it’s a labor of love.
I would like to welcome you to follow along with me on this journey into creating a new life filled with what we love to do. I will be sharing different ideas, patterns, tips from my self as well as from fellow crocheters! I really hope you enjoy.
